Apple releases iOS 6.1.2 with Passcode and Exchange fixes, Still Jailbreakable!
On the heels of iOS 6.1 and iOS 6.1.1, Apple has just released iOS 6.1.2 to the public. According to Apple, iOS 6.1.2 addresses a Microsoft Exchange bug but sources had indicated that it also addresses a lock screen passcode issue.
The update arrives as Build 10B146 for most devices, with the exception of cellular-capable iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad models that are receiving Build 10B147. However, multiple reports are coming in verifying that the update does not fix security issues with passcode infiltrations.
There is some positive news though. The envasi0n team that brought the cross device jailbreak to iOS 6.1 has verified that later today, a software update will be conducted to give iOS users the ability to jailbreak their devices once more. So don't fret too much about that passcode issue because we still have a jailbreak.
