Apple Releases iOS 6.1, Jailbreak Coming Soon?

Apple has released iOS 6.1 to iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and Apple TV users. This public release follows five beta seeds to developers.

The update includes improvements of improvements for iOS device users:
  • LTE support for more carriers (Apple previously announced that it would add more LTE carriers this week)
  • Purchase movie tickets through Fandango via Siri (US only)
  • iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud
  • New button to reset the Advertising Identifier.
iOS 6.1 has been in beta for what feels like forever. After Apple updated iOS 6.1 Beta 4 to 5 over the weekend, many had suspected that Apple would release iOS 6.1 after Tim Cook said that LTE would be coming to several new countries this week.

While iOS 6.1 is underwhelming, the ability to jailbreak could be coming to all iOS devices in the near future because of the update. This is what I have been looking forward to since I bought my iPhone 5 back in December.

So what do you think of iOS 6.1? What are you excited about, the update or the ability to jailbreak your iDevice? Let us know on our Facebook page or on our Forum page.
