Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller turned the guns towards Android in a very unusual forthcoming interview with The Wallstreet Journal.
All of these comments follow a very interesting tweet targeting Android devices with a tweet "Stay safe out there" referring to Android devices being more susceptible to being infiltrated by malicious viruses. This is kind of a big deal because Phil rarely tweets. But hey Phil, can you not attach a PDF? Um yeah, you kind of made me download a 400 page report, not very cool man.
Adding on to the comments above, Schiller said that Android devices and the operating system "don't work seamlessly together" because they come from different vendors, unlike Apple which makes both the software and hardware in its devices." Mr. Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of world-wide marketing, also said that Android users are often running old operating systems and that the fragmentation in the Android world was "plain and simple."He added that "Android is often given a free replacement for a feature phone and the experience isn't as good as an iPhone."
