No Larger, Cheaper iPhone "Math" in 2013 After all?

Apple's iPhone 5.
Well it seems that our friends over at Digitimes are now taking back what they reported just a couple of days ago. Turns out, they are pulling a just kidding. They are now reporting that Apple is focusing on producing an updated iPhone 5, also known as iPhone 5S, for their latest revision to the iPhone line in 2013.

According to Digitimes, "Previously it was said that Apple would release a lower-cost version of its iPhone with a bigger screen in 2013. But the sources claimed that Apple is indeed developing an iPhone with a bigger screen, but that will not be among the models to be launched this year.

One of the two versions to be introduced this year will target the midrange market segment, but both will adopt in-cell touch technology."

So who would of seen that coming? Apple is in fact not releasing a cheaper, plastic, budget phone.

So what do you think of the report and then backpedalling of Digitimes? Let us know in the comment box below or on our Facebook page. Peace Apple Nation and happy Tuesday!

    1. Well, I see your point. But if that were the case, wouldnt the 4 and the 4S both be those cheap budget phones already? The only reason I see Apple ever doing this is giving people another choice only to make people think that they arent being forced to use one model.

Anyways, thanks for checking out our blog!
